WPF Memory Leak (XP SP2)

May 26, 2009 at 12:43 PM

Hi all,

I build fluidkit program with StartupUri="Transition/TransitionTester.xaml".

Running the EXE file (FluidKit.Showcase.exe) on my Machine (Windows XP SP2 with Framework 3.5 SP1) I observed through TaskManager, that each time I run an animation (e.g. Genie) memory's process increase of 15Mb.

The same application on Windows Vista or Windows XP with SP3 works well.

Anyone knows how can I solve this issue on Windows XP SP2??

Thanks in advanced!!

There seems to be a WPF bug using VisualBrush on 3D surfaces, especially on XP SP2 machines and also when you run this app from a Remote Desktop. Could you try posting on the
WPF forums ?
