ElementFlow - Add custom object

Jan 4, 2009 at 11:15 PM
Hello, im new to the WPF world and honestly what made me take the step torwards WPF is the ElementFlow !
Anyways i played a little bit with it, and got it to work really nice and even customized it a little but now i was wondering if i could insert a custom object instead of just an image.
I would like to insert an object wich could be identified by name (so i can find it later) and to be displayed an image and text below it...
I'm sure its possible, but i have no idea where to begin.

i looked at the listbox's ItemsSource property and tried to work with that but didnt succeed...
Anyways i hope someone could point me out a little..
Thanks in advance

Well nevermind i got it to work on my own... lol
how i did it might intrest newbies like me
so here is how:

i modified the StringCollection class to be a collection of my object as opposed to a collection of String as it was.
Then i modified the datatemplate DataType to be typed as my object and then databind the controls to my object's properties like this for example:
 <Label Content="{Binding Path=MyObjectProperty}"/>

that easy...
anyways hope it helps someone
