MFC guy needs to use control

Jul 1, 2008 at 11:18 PM
Hi, as an old MFC guy, I'm getting my feet wet with WPF, and wanting to isolate the cool ElementFlow control for use in a WPF application of my own. It's proving a challenge to figure out what files I to bring over from the sample and what files I don't need.

I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to offer suggestions or point me to a good resource.

Howdy shares!
I am sure you will find WPF a lot more easier and visually appealing :-) Now to your question. If you open up the FluidKit solution in VS and just run a build, it will create a DLL in the FluidKit project. You can then add a reference to this DLL and be done with. This is what I do in the FluidKit.Showcase application project, although its a project reference. In your case it would a reference to the FluidKit DLL.

Happy WPF programming!
