Event propagation

Aug 17, 2011 at 2:01 PM

I'm a complete WFP newbie but was able to integrate an ElementFlow in to an existing WFP application and get it to display item's which are all derived from a common base class and are linked to a custom control that displays them.

But:

- The control is supposed to respond to mouse events like hover and click and doesn't.

- They look oddly squished.

The control displays and behaves fine in other WPF controls and if I add a DataTemplate with an Image and change the binding to access the Icon directly from the base class it display's better (but still a little squashy )

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joey,

"Squashy" is a bit vague...

As for mouse events, I believe ElementFlow currently handles mouse click but not hover.

It would seem the root cause has already been described in other threads the ModelUIElement3D if I understand correctly has the graphics painted on so they are no longer a control

There are multiple references to using a Viewport2DVisual3D instead to solve this but all references I found are old..
